2021 Spring Sectional Training Seminar on Zoom
Given the seriousness of the Coronavirus and the increased health risk to certain populations, we have concluded that the best way to reduce potential harm is to move the spring sectional seminar online using Zoom.
Members, as a reminder the MCA will hold its first 2021 virtual sectional seminar on March 27th starting at 0900est. (It is estimated to last 4-5 hours) The topic will be Safe for Hot Work and will include presentations on Cleaning to Meet a Safe for Hot Work Safety Designation, Inspecting a Space to be Designated as Safe for Hot Work and What Should be Included on a Safe for Hot Work Certificate. If you attend the full meeting as outlined below you will receive credit for a sectional seminar.
The meeting is free to MCA members and MCQB members. Others can register and pay to attend on the MCA paysite. http://www.marinechemistpaysite.com
Once you pay you will be sent the link to attend. (Applies only to Non-MCA members)
ALL MCA MEMBERS WISHING TO ATTEND MUST SEND AN EMAIL TO (DVRAFF@COMCAST.NET) REQUESTING THE INFORMATION TO ATTEND. AN EMAIL WILL BE SEND TO YOU WITH THE INFORMATION. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND OR REQUEST THE LINK IN THE FORUM

There will not be a fee to obtain credit for the meeting for MCA members.
Full attendance at the meeting will count as a sectional seminar.

This is our second virtual meeting and while the MCA expects it to work if we have some technical issues and cannot complete the training you will not obtain credit. This is one reason there is no charge to attend. At the next MCQB meeting our representatives will be asking the committee to allow credit for this training.
During the meeting please use the icon to “raise your hand” if you have a question. You will be recognized. Please do not speak until called on.
When you connect you will be placed in a waiting room and will be admitted. This will reduce the chance of unwanted individuals joining.
Some basic instruction on how to use the Zoom platform will be provided at the start of the meeting as there will be a video associated with this meeting.
